Excellent condition Rembrandt dressage saddle. 17" seat, M/MW size tree. This saddle has a gorgeous dark brown leather and quality understated styling. A moderately deep seat gives security and stability while still allowing freedom of movement. The long flaps and minimal padding allow for a beautiful draped leg without confines. Small knee blocks help keep legs appropriately positioned. Billets and wool stuffed padding are in great condition.

Saddle has been well cared for and has seen only semi-regular riding. This is a fantastically designed and produced saddle for the money. Asking $550. Matching 28" brown padded leather Albion girth pictured is not part of the stated price but can be included for $35. Willing to do local pickup or ship.

I really want this saddle!! Can you get a close up of both sides? Were are you located? Did you buy it new, if so when??

I might have to go to my local tack shop to see if I can fit into a 17inch saddle. I have an 18 dressage but I know its big. My c/c is 16.5.

Sure, would be glad to. Are you looking for anything specific in the side pics? ie - closeup of stirrup bars, stirrup rubs, stitching, etc?

I'm in MD. I am not the original owner. I purchased it used a little over 2 years ago. I don't know its exact history but it was sold to me barely broken in at that point and I've ridden in it off and on for about 1.5 years (horse it fits has been off/on lame).

The 17" may be a better fit for you if you're a 16.5" in jump saddles. I believe most folks go up within .5"-1" in dressage tack depending on the depth of the seat.

Would be happy to answer any questions! Thanks!

No worries savvylover. FYI I don't think shipping to Ireland is prohibitive :p

Sillybunny, here are a few views of the flaps. Is this what you envisioned? Some of them came out a little "glossy" looking because of the flash but I couldn't turn it off sooo, that's unfortunate, sorry!

(sort of a weird angle, saddle tipped away a little bit)

The grainy look to the knee roll and the seat is what Rembrandt calls "schrumpf" leather.. it's prestretched leather that is an upgraded option and VERY soft.

I just wanted to see if those were rubs, or there were scratches there too. I want this saddle so bad. I'm going to try to get to the tack shop to sit in some saddles, see if I can get into a 17inch. It does look like a deeper seat I think. My friend was telling me it should fit because of the seat. I'll let you know asap.

I guess the pictures showed, but yep, just stirrup rubs on the flaps. They're pretty minor.

Great idea to hit the tack shop. Keep in touch if you think this might work for you! Thanks.
