Hello,

I recently got a two year old horse, he is a solid paint. His pedigree includes, Scotch Bar Time, Boston Mac, Triple Chick, 3 Bars, Two Eyed Jack, Sonny Dee Bar, Watch Joe Jack, Spot Cash and lady Hancock. Based on this what discipline is he bred for? I am looking to do some western pleasure with him, and dabble a little in the reining. If someone could give me some info on his bloodlines, how much is this little guy worth based on his bloodlines? He is a very calm horse nothing bothers him.

Those ancestor names are seen in pedigrees of horses performing in a variety of disciplines-- for example Three Bars is in many QH, Paint and Appaloosa pedigrees today, in disciplines from racing to halter to western pleasure and etc.

The names you mentioned are well known, but unless he is a direct son of one of them then its hard to estimate value based on bloodlines..... and even if he IS a direct son of a famous horse, that only goes so far, before his own quality would become more important than his sire's name :D.

Could you post a link to his pedigree?

Is he a colt or a gelding?

Can you post photos?
