My 14 year old mare has a horrible grass belly :-|
No matter what kind of exercise plan I make or how long I ride nothing helps. I want to know if theirs anyway to get rid of it?
When I got her, she was ridiculously over weight. Her previous owner fed her some high protein feed. I switched her to Seminole Gold Chance 10. I've had her for over a year and she is in much better shape except that dang grass belly
This is her feeding schedule:
Morning(7am): 1 1/2 quarts (1/2 scoop) of Seminole Gold Chance 10
1 slice of coastal hay in her stall
Night(4 or 5pm): 1 1/2 quarts (1/2 scoop) of Seminole Gold Chance 10 and she is out to pasture until the morning. because of her skin she sunburns very easily (thanks florida).

I ride almost everyday. Some times I ride or do ground work for 15 minutes sometimes an hour maybe sometimes even three hours or more, depends on the day. Shes perfectly muscular every where except her belly is so big it looks proportional lol

I just want to know how to get rid of her huge grass belly.
