I'm sorry about all the threads! There are not a lot of photos of "show" walkers out there. Trying to figure out the grooming, it looks to me like the mane gets clipped a bit past the length of the ear? Is that right. The fetlocks, do they stay feathery? And then that braid, anyone got a close-up picture on it?

I know what it's called silly! I'm asking how far down to clip a walking horse. Each breed has a specific length....

Sorry, I don't own or show TWHs personally, but found this on Wikipedia and thought it might help..sorry about the links, they came with it when I copy/pasted haha

"Saddle seat and fine harness horses are shown with a longer bridle path of at least 8 inches. It is usually appropriate for use on breeds associated with these disciplines, even when certain individual animals are shown in-hand or under saddle in other disciplines. Breeds clipped to a "Saddle type" style include American Saddlebreds, Tennessee Walking Horses, National Show Horses, Arabians, and Morgans."
