Hey guys, i'm sure this has been spoken about before so hopefully this wont be such a surprise, but I wanted to see if there's any useful feedback I could add to my "Grooming Tool Box." I have a Friesian stud and he's got the typical long, full mane and tail, but I want to grow it longer. I know it sounds silly, but I'm going for Anton 343 in length, considering my horse has him in recent bloodline.

Okay so the obvious techniques I use:
-Braid up almost all. the. time.
-Brush rarely; finger comb
-Wash scarcely
-Leave in Conditioner
-MTG
-Balanced diet (His diet has been carefully measured between veterinary suggestions, training requirements, and breeding success.)

He has really thick, resilient hair, and the only issue I have come across is that he has abnormally dry skin. But I maintenance that by using an aloe-spray once a week.

Any secret techniques that anyone has used with success in the hair growth department? Besides genes obviously, lol.

Oh crud, I just saw the Long tail thread. It slipped my field of vision earlier. Okay so anyone is still welcome to reply but if mods want to delete then go ahead. I apologize, I seriously did not see the already established post.
