REALLY happy to get pictures this morning of Guaranteed Gold's very first Appy foal born and its a palomino!

Dont know yet if its a filly or a colt, but it looks huge, its SO colourful and love how dark it is for a palomino as well! It should continue to develop that really rich, deep dark golden palomino coat and with the spotted contrast, should be a knockout!

A big congrats to the owner of this fabulous foal! It will be fun to see this one grow up and once it unfolds and they get some outside pictures of it, I'll post those as well

so the foal HAS to be palomino even though it looks really dark chestnut in this picture ...

We're going through a cold snap right now and where the Mom and baby are located is about 3 hours north of us, so it will be even colder still up there ...

Im sure that Andrea will get them both out sometime today after the vet has been and given them both the "once over" but the stall they are in is huge so Im sure baby is doing lots of laps around Mama in there right now and testing out his legs!

Thanks for the nice comments - his owner is thrilled with him and the next Appy mare he bred to Guaranteed Gold is due in about 7-8 days, so it will be fun to see what that one looks like too!
