Well, first of all, you should rule out any pain around the girth area. Also, a lot of people don't realize that they way they get on the horse, actually really hurts the horse. The horse may not have moved before, but now she could just be getting sick of it and is moving now, if it hurts that is. So try checking her girth to make sure it's not pinching anything, if it is, aways remember to walk her a few steps to get that extra skin stretched out. If thats not it, check how you are mounting. Are you standing a ways away from her and than pulling to get on? Are you bouncing in the saddle as you sit? How you should mount is stand as close to the saddle as possible, and jump with the leg that is on the ground, try real hard to not even pull the saddle what so ever as you mount, and sit down real easy. I'm sure you know this already, but I figured I'd say it anyways. If none of those is the case, than she's being a butthead. What I did for my aunts gelding who did that was everytime he moved I'd get off and make him circle around me, but in a tight circle. I'd just take the reins and swish them by his right hind end and then the left. Keep doing this until she doesn't move when you get on her. I hope this helps, and good luck with that because I sure as hell hated it too!
