I agree with Pechos. The other thing, how well of a horseman are you? If you got your foot in the stirrup and stood up, can you hold on to a horse if you pulled his/her face toward you while he/she is moving? The reason I say this is the animal can not go forward while you are trying to get on. The animal can only turn into you. But as he/she is moving into you, you stay standing up on the stirrup and hold that rein until he/she stops moving. Then get back down and do it again. I would keep getting up, getting down until the animal stopped moving. Like a one rein stop. Do not let go of her/his face until they stop moving. That is the reward. Release. I hope this makes sense. Its sounds better in my head. Not so easy to type it. Good luck. Be patient.
