I'm Emiily && 17 from Logan, Ut. I have a 9 or 10 yr old barrel/poles horse. I love him to death. When I first bought him I knew he was right for me. Although he was as intimidating as it gets. Digging at the dirt, raring up. My family was so nervous me getting a horse like that. But I'm so happy he doesn't work good with other people me && him just understand eachother so well I love him so much. Horses are my life. It's what I plan to major in, in college. I'm already workin on it. I graduated early && now taking college classes. I hope this told you a little about me

I am glad you didn't give up on your spirited horse. I had the same problems with my paint horse. He was never mean but lacked confidence in himself and in people. It took several years to win over his trust and we are the best partners ever. I know most people would have not been so patient but the reward you get in return for all the hours you put in is imeasureable. Welcome to the horse forum!
