Hello Everyone. :) My name is Charlene, and I'm in northern VA. Still kind of new to the area and looking for people to trail ride with. I have a 16 yo TWH mare whose favorite speed is a slow walk.

Welcome to the area. You should have no problem finding people to ride with in Spotsy! It's a nice area... traffic is poopie but the people are nice.

Thank you for the welcome!! Yeah, this area is quite a bit more rushed than where I'm originally from...in the southern part of the state. But I don't see my hubby wanting to move south anytime soon.

We are actually just over the line into Caroline County.

I've been to Lake Anna a couple of times, but I was only able to ride the short trail. I love to trail ride, but don't think my bones can handle jumping. I had a few injuries last year that still haven't completely healed. I'm open for trail riding pretty much anytime that weather permits...and I'm not at work of course...lol.

Haha, it's okay. They're not big jumps! :p lol, just playin'. My mom actually went to Lake Anna and just lopes with my step dad.

Do you have your own trailer? Ours is kinda of.. broken... at the moment (brakes don't work). Just if you wanna come out, we know you won't need help(;

You are welcome out anytime this Spring! Winter and wetness hasn't done us too well (really really muddy and yucky) - and mom's horse has an abscess.. so he's lame right now.. Not a great time to ride when he can barely walk! :(

Yep, I have a trailer...not the best in the world, but it suits my purpose. That's a shame about the absess. Hopefully he'll feel better soon. That sounds really good about spring though...THANK YOU!!!

I like your signature too. I actually have that song as my ringtone.

Thank you, this is his second time being lame.. It's quite aggravating! He is also blind in one eye.. Poor guy.. Stupid injuries!

Haha! Thanks! Rockband at my friend's place showed me how much a person can love country! :)

Did you check out the link to the website? It gives you a taste of my place:)

Howdy from Southern MD.. Another place that isn't far from you is Grave's Mnt in the Madison area. If you like mountain riding. I go there alot to ride. As where I'm at there isn't a lot of places to go...:wink:

I've heard a lot about Grave's Mtn. I'm hoping to venture up there this spring. Where in Southern MD...if you don't mind me asking? I used to live in MD (years and years ago)...but I wasn't far from the DE state line.
