Hi, I currently hav a 2003 s series saturn. It gets about 28 mpg in the city and about 32 on the highway. It is paid off and we paid $3,900 for it. I had always planned on having a used truck and car with gas prices as high as they are. But recently I found a truck with mpg just 3 less than my car. So my question is should I trade my car for a truck with low mpg??? (I do have two horses and I am needing to get a truck and trailer so I can haul them to shows but, I dont have a lot of money). So trade or just keep saving for both?

a truck getting 29 highway isnt gonna pull a horse trailer. Keep the car find a deal on a truck that can tow.

I would wait and save for both that way you can get a really good truck and trailer that will last you a long time.
