I have a 5 year old OTTB and I have never experienced this type of behavior with him so far. His stall window was left open during a storm and I'm assuming that the thunder scared him therefore causing him to try and jump out. In the process he got scraped up on his hips, above his eyes, behind his ears, and some scratches and scrapes on his legs that are already healing. Everything else seems to be healing slow. He also has 2 dime sized wounds on his back leg that look like either proud flesh or excessive granulation tissue. Someone please give me some ideas on what I could put on these wounds to get them healing quickly. (He also has rain rot but we are taking care of that)
