I have hosed her off today to try to help! I have no clue what could have caused the hives. PLEASE tell me what i can do to relieve her aweful itching!

Could be bug bites. With the hot weather come nasty, biting bugs.

Do you use flyspray on her before she goes out? If not, start.

If you do not know what caused the hives it is probably best to have your vet look at your horse.

My horse gets a hive reaction to some bug bites. I use Benadryl and that helps him.

But I would not medicate a serious case of hives with out talking to your vet first.
