This!Ask the sellers what registry he's registered with and go from there. Do they not have his papers? Are they the owner on file with the registry?
So i got a new gelding this weekend. They gave me his "number" ... how do I get his papers? Who do I contact?
He is a TB/Warmblood.
Thanks!
If he is not branded then he is unlikely to have been ever presented to any warmblood registry for registration so he may not be what the seller has stated.hey guys,
I talked to the seller. He is not registered to her knowledge but that doesn't mean he isn't registered and the previous owner just didn't give his papers.
He is not branded (i don't think i have ever seen a hunter branded- could be wrong though).
Both of my other horses are papered and I did have to sign the papers and send it in to show transfer of ownership- but he didn't come with anything.
Thanks for the ideas everyone![]()
Thank you. I asked the same question in post 10. What numbers?did they explain what the "number" they gave you for him pertained to?
