My horse's souls of their feet have turned a creamyish whitish color and have what looks like little rock indents. It is winter where I live so there is snow. is it the constant wetness that is causing that? Also I think the hoofs are a little soft. im not sure (probably if there is rock indents). What is this and should I be worried? same thing happened last year and they seemed fine.

Creamy white is the normal color of the dead sole. No worries.
