Whats the difference between shiny horse hair and greasy/oily horse hair? I know a horse that looks shiny, but the owner is always saying that is is greasy! I am so confused!:lol:

Natural oils coat the hair and make them looks shiny, but when they build up they can get greasy. Just like human hair.

The horse just has a healthy shine. It is not extreme greasy shine...

The shine comes from good nutrition and overall health, the natural hair oils, and possibly grooming products.
