We have a gelding at the farm I go to that gets bullied by his pasture mates (not let to eat, not let in the run in shed, etc). For the past few weeks he has been brought in to eat because he was dropping weight. Is there a solution for this or is it just nature. I know there is a pecking order but I think it is effecting his health.

We have a gelding like this as well. The only way to really cope with it is to separate the horse. We put ours in a smaller pasture with just two friends and a round bale for all three of them to eat on. They still pick on him a bit, but not nearly as much. We also bring all of our horses in the barn to eat their grain/goodies everyday.
