Help me guys, I really need some advice.

I want to start showing my gelding this summer in a few of the eventing shows my barn goes to. Now the cost for that isn't too big a deal right now. Its the costs leading up to it. I need to somehow make $720 for board for May and the same amount for June. Then I need a $150 for an eventing clinic that my friends have said really really really helps get you ready for the shows.
I'm 15 years old and I have a job. Saturday's 7am-5pm {on a normal saturday} sometimes work ends at 4:30. Now I calculated and if I save February and March I have enough board for May, then April and May i'll have enough board for June. The thing is if work gets off early or something like that I won't have enough. My boss offered to let me work 7am-11am or 12 pm on Sunday's as well but my mom is hesitant.

Any advice on how to convince her to let me work?

I would say at least try the work on Sunday as well. I mean if you can't handle it or it gets in the way of something, there's no harm in saying you can't take that shift anymore, but at least you got to try for a few weeks, and thats a few weeks of bigger paychecks!

I actually was just offered a job at a 24-hr emergency horse hospital....12 to 8 am on weekends, on top of the 4-5 day a week day job I have. But I need more money so, I'm going to at least try it out!

thanks guys and yeah white foot we've always hovered around the poverty line and its always been in my life. it'll help me when i have to lie on my own.

my mom has agreed to allow me to work sundays now. if my grades drop or I can't handle the stress of school, horse training {my boy} and work then i'll stop doing sundays but for now i'm doing it.

I would definitely take up the sunday work. However you mum is right in that if your school work suffers to drop the sundays. School should ALWAYS come first. If you miss a few shows because you've had to do school work or haven't had the money, then tough that's how it is but you really do need to get as best marks that you can muster at school ;)
