I wuz just joking around, you just dont get what i wuz trying to say. I guess i wasent clear enough, sorry. The whole idea was to ask how you maintain your fitness, so you can ride better.
uummmm....i am sorry no one understood.......no need to be so negative....

I would just like to remind posters of this rule:

4- Please do not use excessive Net-Speak.
Please spell out your words. For example: Say "Your" instead of "ur", and say "to" instead of "2" etc. Keep in mind, that not all members of this forum speak English as a first language, it is already hard enough for them to translate our slang terms but the net-speak makes it a lot harder for them, since there is no way to translate it. Furthermore, do not type in all caps, or in alternating caps, or use excessive exclamation points or question marks. (Example. DONT TYPE LIKE THIS oR LiKe ThIs!!!!!111!!!!!????///)

Thank you!!

I'm a little confused over the responses. Net speak aside, it seems to be a legitimate question.

The OP is asking about fitness and, as I see it, how many riders could be hurting their horse by being overweight for the size of their horse or, due to their lack of any physical conditioning, are riding improperly. Improper riding techniques will effect your horse's performance and ulitmately causing pain/discomfort to their horse.

NOTE TO wannahorse22, as JustDressageIt pointed out, the use of net speak (text speak) is against forum rules, that includes "words" such as wuz.

She could have worded it just a bit more tactfully though.

Maybe "If you feel you are not fit, do you feel if (you lost weight/ became more fit), you (would be able to ride better/ would be more comfortable for your horse to carry)?" or something vaguely of the like...

Wow! I think Wannahorse22 inadvertently touched a nerve.

I personally haven't any issues with this question, and am happy to say that I strive to stay physically fit for myself as well as my horses. Too many activities I enjoy require that.

Now, that doesn't mean that I couldn't afford to lose a little weight. That has become a bit of an issue as I got older (50+ crowd). But, being fit is possible even if you're carrying a little extra weight. Fortunately I am married to a man that likes curves on his woman (thank goodness for that, because I've got curves!).:lol::lol:

Make who mad?

Me, no.

The second question just seems like you were poking at us chubbers a bit or something. Which I doubted you were though, and is why I posted that you could have worded it a bit more tactfully, if anything just for future reference.

And you cannot close a thread, that is up to the moderators.

Wannahorse22, you did not upset or offend me at all. I was surprised with some of the responses. I also took the last part of your op as humorous, not judgemental or offensive.

So , for me , all is good.
