Anyone know of anything to use to shine up nickel plated silver on my saddle? I have to keep my saddle in the barn and over the years the silver plating is getting very dull and I can't get the shine back. It is not sterling, just the nickle plated stuff.

Because it is plate you need to be careful that the polish you use will not affect the plating. What I use on delicate metals, and my blued guns, is Flitz. It's a blueish gray paste that does a great job without harming the finish. I've been using it for over 20 years on metal and fiberglass.

Where would I purchase Flitz?

It may be too little to late to shine it up. It looks pretty dull/corroded from being outside.

Any hardware store should have it. Lowes, Home Depot, as examples.
