Usually, the horses I used to ride at my old stable, where two tough ponies. I would have to use a crop on the one a lot more then the other, but I still used crops on them. For the horse I ride (Bee) at my new stable, she is really sensitive. You barley have to put pressure on her sides to make her move. That gives me a little problem with speed cause I am used to these slower ponies that took a lot of effort, and now I ride a horse that doesn't take a lot of effort, but is very fast. Sometimes I put too much pressure on her sides and she will shoot faster. Any advise about getting used to the transition from slow tough ponies to fast sensitive ones?
