Yessss, We had the poles made out of wood. So I got firewood and propped the wooden poles on them to make a crossrail.

I was trotting my horse over them with the lead line and he kind of just trotted over them!
They werent that high off the ground. Is that the problem?
They were only about 10 inches. xD

There is nothing wrong with your horse trotting over poles of that height.

I agree with MIE, its good that your horse isn't leaping over them at this stage/hight
