I can't believe it and my heart is breaking :-(

I moved from my hometown in South Africa to Singapore, and then from Singapore to America (Go Oregon! haha). Finallyyyy I got my first horse, Sydney who is the same age as me, 17! I have had her for 2 years now, but I have to move to Ireland and I can't afford to take her with :-(

I don't know what to do, or how to deal with losing my best friend.

Some times people or animals just come into our life for a short time. It's sad to let them go but it opens the opportunity for them to influence the lives of others, and the opportunity for you to meet new animals or people or horses, and try new things. I hope everything works out okay.

When you move, you really move! Since you're a teen-ager-I imagine it's for a family job. Which country was your favorite to live in? Are you planning on college soon? Did you take lessons prior to buying your horse? I owned my last home for 35 years, so moving is not easy for me. Good luck & hope you find a place for your horse that eases your mind.

Anyway, I am so sorry that you can't bring your horse... But look on the bright side. The Irish bred horse is one of the best horses in the world. Obviously good breeding can't contend with the connection between horse and rider.... But I really hope that this issue is resolved, for your sake, and your horses sake.

Not only am I losing a friend now, I have lost a few others in the past. It hurts, you may cry for weeks, but just like a death in the family the pain will slowly go away and all of the happy memories will start to make you laugh again. My favorite country was Singapore. There was so much culture and it was just magical

I never took lessons before. But she teaches me every time we ride <3

Yess I will be going to college, which is the reason for my move. We can't afford college in America :-(

Your moving to Ireland!! Where abouts? I live in Ireland great place lots of horsey people I'm sure you'll fit right in. I'm so sorry if you have to leave your horse behind. I know whenever I sell a horse I ball my eyes out even though I will probably see it around the shows. Anyway There are lots of great horses here I mean the won't replace your horse but rather give you good memories another thing you can hold on too
