Okay, so I got $205 for christmas, and I have decided to spend it at a place called Tony's Saddle Shop. I'm trying to make a checklist for what I hope to buy while I'm there, just to give myself an idea and plan. What do you guys suggest I get?

The only thing I'm not planning on getting at all is a saddle, because I just got two new ones.


Here's what I've come up with, just as ideas, not what I'm getting for sure:
show shirt
saddle pad
halter/lead
grooming supples
shampoo
feed supplements
polo wraps/bell boots
rubber bands


idk what else....help!

Do you do a lot of showing , maybe a sleazy hood or sheet?

Maybe items that are all matching colors. For example a green halter, lead, polo wraps, saddle blanket, ect.

You could always but new grooming things such as brushes, soaps, ect.

Or maybe a nice pair of clippers.

Good idea. I show at 3 shows annually, 1 actual show, 1 speed show, 1 fun show..but im hoping to increase the amount of shows i go to.

Prioritize what you need the most. If you need a new halter the most, get that first. If you need the food supplements get them. Don't buy pointless stuff if you'll never use it.
Maybe invest in a good saddle pad that will last you a while, or new bridle and reins.
