So I found today I'm a bit near-sighted and will have glasses. The optometrist who checked my eyes told that I needn't to wear them all the time if I don't want/feel so but do it when I personally feel it's comfort and eases my sight. I think I'll wear them a pretty lot, especially situations in which I need to watch a lot farther (my other eye is a bit worse and it annoys me since the quality of information I get from my right and the left eye is different).

So, I'd like to hear some ideas what kind of glasses would become me? Here are some photos of me (yea, besides I love to see myself in pics I also hope that the big punch of pictures would help you to have a some kind of view about my outer essence :lol.

Anyway I'd like to have black or otherwise very temperate frames/arms since I don't like colors or other startling things in a situation like that. The glasses could neither be very expensive (I know I live in a different continent than most of the users on thst forum but I assume that expensive there is expensive here too).

Ps. I wouldn't mind if the glasses made me look a bit older, since I'm 20 but the most of time look remarkably younger :wink:.

I like the type of frames that you've posted. I have a similar pair, and just really prefer squarer frames to the rounder ones. Mine are red though! Ha ha. Anyway, that style would look good on you. I don't remember exactly how much mine were but they were more pricey because they're transitions. I'm sure you could find an affordable, nice looking pair though.

It's definitely good to have an idea of what you want but what I recommend is just trying out lots of different pairs and see what fits you :smile: That's how I've found all of my glasses so far.

Join the club! you'll get use to it pretty quickly. I recently had my eyes checked and tho my vision is at 15/15 I have a stigamatism which is corrected with glasses as well. Have had mine for a few months now and it's true it really helps make it easier on your eye balls.

I thought shopping for glasses was a bit fun as well. Tried all sorts of different kinds.

You will find it really makes a difference good luck with your first pair

Here are mine! They're kind of like a cat-eye style. I also have two other frames... let me see if I can find photos.


I am like you, I don't NEED to wear them, but it makes it easier.

ETA: They are Michael Kors frames. I had eyed them up and then finally bought them. They looked cute!

Okay. I like to have some ideas so I needn't to go to the shop and try every different pair of glasses that they have :lol:. I know myself and think I could even and almost do that if I don't have any ideas before. Yes I'll do the final decision when I'm buying them and see what kind of glasses they have but it'd be good to have even a some kind of ideas what would I like to want :wink:.

Okay. I got mines today. Say what do you think and sorry for tiredness in the pics.

I think them didn't make me look older but only odd :lol:. Anyways them are stylish and it's great to see also long distance in high-definition quality. I went a glasses which are bit like I linked here in my first message.
