if you went into full-time business in the driving side of things, what would you do? me, i have to say i would like to do funerals, with one of those old victorian hearses, all gloss black and cut glass- fantastic, and a bonus, the customers arent ussually going to get out of hand, at least until you have gone home! also think it would be great to do film work, hiring out different carriages and appearing as driver.

i,ve a mate that turns up at such as galas fetes carboot sales with a pony and flat cart he,s been having a right do,but he said that last week health and safety landed on him ,started on about public liability insurance .god they are unlucky b,,,,,,ds always looking for new ways to have an accident-what ever happend to common sense-

This is what Karen Bassett does. I think I would do weddings so long as people wanted a nice carriage - a cinderella/sugar plum fairy style one would not be in my collection!

ummm- i'm not up to karen bassett standard by a long mile!!! this was just a thread for wishful thinking, that i thought everyone could post something in. i know a local man who does the film stuff, and has a fantastic collection of old carriages, so its more for the nostalgia for me!
