I've never shown dressage, but I've schooled it a lot. I've written down a list of every maneuver he knows, and I'm going to school him tomorrow to see if he's physically able to comfortably do them all. He's got a lot of muscle still so it shouldn't be an issue.

Basically the barn I'm working at is having a schooling show, and for giggles, I want to do the freestyle. I'm going to use the Halo 2 theme (if I can get this stupid computer to write it or find the other CD it's on D8). If not I'll need a backup piece, which could prove difficult. I've got my heart set on Halo!

I've got 5 days to come up with a routine.

I was considering a comedy routine too, for sheer entertainment. White N Nerdy, or GhostBusters. I'm kind of excited!

Good luck, freestyles are a lot of fun!! Just make sure the music you pick is in type with your horse's footfalls- thats the whole point of the music And don't use the same same for the whole test, the reason that songs are mixed in a freestyle is so the music can match each gait.

The reason I chose the song I did is because it has different rhythms that will match his gaits - I don't have any equipment or software to mix music, otherwise I think I'd have a very consuming hobby!
