So some of you may know, I just started taking dressage lessons in September. Today was my first lesson in 4 weeks(due to bad weather). When I got back up there, it felt like this is where I belonged that this is where I need to be. It was one of my best lessons and my instructor and her mom could not believe how good I was doing after so long without a lesson. So I'm on a horse high!
But I have a few questions. How's the best way to achieve collection during the canter?
How do you go from a canter into a trot smoothly?(been working on that, I'm good with all my other transitions but this one throws me off[not literally])
And what was the moment when you felt it? That everything was in sync between you and your horse? I have felt it for along time...me and Al just flow together.
