When the people came to look at Piper they said they would buy her if they sold their Haflinger mare. We are in the process of putting a fence up on our property and I was going to get something smaller to stick out with Dallas when he is moved here. Something the kids could ride but something sturdy enough for me to ride. So I inquired about her personality and they told me she was completely kid broke, road safe bla bla bla. Went to see her yesterday and loved her. Well they wanted $400 for her and I had Piper listed for $700 on craigslist. So I let them take care of trailering and told them $200. They picked up Piper today and here is Annalie (formerly Molly). -and a bonus pic of Dallas all muddy from rolling-
Thanks you guys. I think she's going to be a keeper. She's a total sweetie. She weaned her foal a few months ago but this is her first actual time being away from him. So when they left she neighed after her old owners for awhile.
She's amazingly broke though. Anyone can ride her : ). I think she's a little under 14 hands (I'll have to measure her).
She is ADORABLE!!! She sounds wonderful, hope you enjoy having her! I can't imagine how cute her foal would have been...and I agree, LOVE the roach look on her! She's so round LOL, and due for a trim but that's easily fixed!
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with her. If I can get my oldest comfortable around her he might show her halter. She isn't registered. So who knows, lol.
