The other day I was at the stable and my friend asked why I wasn't riding. It was just under 30 degrees and I said that Cinny's hips don't do well in the cold. So she suggested that I rub his hips with lineament since I use a quarter sheet. For some reason this sounds like a great idea while at the same time sounds like a horrible idea. I'm used to CA weather with horses and I'm still getting used to their proper care in NE.

Every liniment I've ever used says in the instructions if its safe to use under bandages or not - so the same ruling would apply for under a sheet
I'd be more inclined to use after exercise than with it - if your horse is stiff then be sure to have a really good warm up routine and a good cooling off one after work
