Lately I've really laid off working with my mare and we've just been having more fun. Instead of focusing on what we're working on, we'd squeeze it into our rides so it was more play than work.
I've noticed a pretty big change in her attitude. She was never unwilling or nasty, but she's much more attentive and she seems happy.

I wish I had pictures, she's been carrying herself really well at the trot. Instead of tucking just her nose, she's lowering her neck and I can feel her back coming up. I'm really proud of her. She's gained a lot of muscle and she proved it today:)
Since I've only been jumping 2/3 days out of the week I decided to do a little test today. The last time we jumped 2'6 I think we were unprepared. Myself with my position and herself with muscle. We jumped 2'6 today and the first jump was absolutely effortless on her part. She didn't rush or change her speed at all. Her stride was solid and so was her position. It's a small accomplishment, but it's nice to see our efforts paying off.
