I have several good quality English bridles that have been stored in a tack truck for a few years and now the leather is very sticky. How do I get this gunk off without damaging the leather?

murphys oil soap. lotta soap little water

I've used diluted Castille with success on a very sticky martingale. It is drying, so they'll need to be oiled afterwards, but it's great for deep cleaning.
