Do you prefer leather or nylon (front) hobbles? Does price reflect quality? The leather ones seem to be more expensive than nylon...

I use nylon hobbles. They work fine. I live in a remote area, so bought what was available. They are probably mid-range on price.

I have friends who build saddles that made fancy leather ones. And other friends who work with rawhide that made their own rawhide twist hobbles. All work well.

Any good brands? I don't really want a cheap set that could rub or break, but I also don't really want to spend $200 on a set that works just as well as a $40.
