Since you asked for crosses....
Here is my four year old Appendix. His sire was Puchilingui (Painted Thoroughbred stallion) and his dam is my foundation QH mare, Molly.

Great pics!
I have two TBs.

Cheyenne Autumn, the namesake for my ranch and screenname :) He is my first horse, I got him Feb 8, 1997 and still have him :) He's 19. He was never raced, he was bred for eventing. We've done a little dressage, trail riding, jumping (h/j mainly since that's whats prevelant here), team sorting, even some gymkhana. He is my horsey soul mate and taught me how to RIDE vs sit on a horse :)

And Renaissance. JC name Count the Copper. He was raced until he was 7. My best friend got him when he was 18, he's 28 now. 4 or so years ago she couldn't keep him anymore so I took him in.

Hey Everyone.
I love my TB's!!!! Especially since they were bred by my family. First we have Tiny. He is 8 yrs old and has joint issues so he is not being ridden at the moment. Tiny was trained to race but never did. I had to beg for that to happen.lol Tiny likes to be ridden out on the bridle path at the ranch.

Then Candi! She is the darker ...almost black horse. She is 4 1/2 years old and just recently I put her in training with a woman at my barn. Candi has also been trained to race but never has. She is very energetic and loves to be scrathced on her face. Both horses are such a blessing. Even tho they frustrate me sometimes, cause me to be "concerned" on an occasion ...they bring me such happiness! They truly are great horses!
Both or registerd with the JC. No tatoos.
Everyone has such pretty horses!!
Love them all...

I have owned one Thoroughbred, though I have ridden several others, and i absolutely love the breed. This is Roxy, bought her at 8, sold her at 11. She was bred to race, and was trained, but for one reason or another never hit the track. She was my dressage and jumper horse, and she absolutely loved to jump. She was such a sweetie, and really helped me learn a lot about horses, and riding. She is jockey club registered, Lady Diamondo, and I had the pleasure of having a chance meeting with the vet that actually attended her birth.

My OTTB girls--

Three Bridges, 2002 16+h brown mare, raced until this fall when she fractured a sesamoid. I picked her up at Thistledown race track in Cleveland OH and brought her back to MI to live. She is still recovering, but is comfortable, and will be broodmare sound, and possibly sound for light flat trail riding. She won $28,231 and had 59 starts (so not super fast, but sure a hard workin' girl.)

Here is a win pic from 2006 at River Downs--

Here she is with her winter woolies coming (Head shot Oct 09, walking Nov 09)

This is Wild About Jackie. Jackie is a 15.3 hand 1996 mare. She was bred, raised, trained, and raced by one owner, who then retired her and has had two nice foals from her. The oldest is a 2 year old (soon to be 3) who just entered race training a few weeks ago. Jackie won $76,404 on the track and was a sprinter with a record of 9-8-1 in 32 starts. She was never retrained to ride off-track, but joined my little herd this fall after weaning her 2009 colt. (Body photo is of her when he was still nursing-- she wasn't thin exactly but has certainly gotten fatter! She is a really big bodied, wide mare-- almost QH-y looking-- as you might expect from a sprinter.)

Along with Jackie, came Leggy-- Chrissy's Legacy, a 16.1++ hand grey 1995 mare. Same owner and same situation as Jackie-- a "clean one owner" mare who retired 100% sound after 41 starts with a record of 5-9-3 and earnings of $80,075. Leggy was an orphan from a couple days old, was well-raised by her breeder/owner, and is a very loving gentle horse. She also was not retrained for riding, but as nice as she is to be around, we might just try it, even at her age. Her owner said that the Jockeys loved her because she was such a sweet easy going ride. She has had three foals, one already a race winner, one who did not race, and the youngest a 2 year old gelding (soon to be 3) just entering race training with Jackie's filly.

Here's my guy, Victor (Classic Victor). He's never raced but his sire was the 1995 Illinois Stallion of the Year. He's turned into a lovely hunter and I'd like to start jumping more as soon as I schedule some more lessons. He's my pride and joy.
