well for the last four/five years I have totured ya'all with my pics, stories, random comments of my two girls Delta and Dana. Well its come to end. On thursday I went to see the girls to find an empty paddock. Their owner has been spouting off about moving since last year so I natrually went 'yah believe it when i see it'. Well hes finally moved and didnt have the gall to tell me. So I pick up my stuff which he left in his open sheds which could have been nicked i know. It was kind of 'all we're missing is the sad theme music in the background' moment as the sky was grey, the paddocks desolate and then it began to rain...........
So I texted him and said if he could tell me his adress so I could see the girls and he told me 'i will tell you in two weeks i need to get set up first' now Im sorry that sounds like he is blowing me off and thinks i will forget. plus I have known him for 4-5 and he has never been set up!!
So I will keep you posted. I must admit im a tad worried coz Dana would float ok but hell would freeze over before you get delta on a float as she is too nervy. I just hope they're ok.........

This happened to me with my first lease horse. It really sucks. I'm sorry it happened to you and I wish you many great horses in your future.

Yeah it sucks but there isnt anything you can do. they arent yours. thats what sucks about getting attached to someone elses horse. :-(

yeah I know its true they arent mine but I consider them my own as you do. I sort of dont know what to do, but I think she knew coz the last time I saw her, she wouldnt leave my side, followed me to the gate and stood the licking my hands, nuzzling me and sticking her head under my arm which she does when she's feeling sooky. She knew. I hoped thats not what she was trying to tell me but she was right.......
At least we said good bye right. I dont want to let go, he did offer her to me but I dont have $5000 laying around otherwise I would. Oh well see what the future holds

my dad did that, because my parents were fighting, they got divorced and when i went out to see my horses, they were gone, we went to the local auction later that month and say all of them there, 2 went to slaughter, 3 got sold to other people and we bought back my barrel horse, our stud, and the last broodmare we had. Ended up having to sell them all any ways when we moved to wisconsin, but i just bought my new barrel horse from a friend, bought a cutting stud.
