My Morgan had the same exact issue.... I think it is a Morgan thing. Do you plan on showing her? Show standards for Morgans are the same as Arabs.....they want long thick flowing manes and even most English and Western shows allow it just the same as an Arab, just follow the Arab guidelines. If it really is bugging you and getting in the way you can 1) keep it braided or 2) (gulp) thin it...but I really recommend you don't as you may regret it some day if you do decide to go to a Morgan show
