:shock::shock:So I have always had a mole along my hair line (kinda down from behind my ear) anyway, its has always been there, it was about the size of BB, not too worried about it......... until like 2 weeks ago. I first noticed another small bump near the mole about 2 weeks ago. I honestly thought it was a zit, it was tender to the touch and of course i cant see that area so I just brushed it off and didnt really give it too much thought. Well then about a week later i noticed the area between the mole (and what i thought was a zit) started to become raised and it also was tender to the touch but it was a small little connection between the 2, one that a brush could have easliy scraped. Again didnt think too much of it but decided to start checking it every week just too make sure. Well I checked it today and the area (what was my mole and i thought a zit) was all tender and the area that connected them that was small is now larger and the entire area is protruding alot more then it was a week ago.

So I finally decided that i needed to at least know if it was a zit or not (at this time Im really thinking its not!) So i parted my hair and asked my mom what it looked like. She said it was a big mole that was different shapes of brown and red. :shock: (that was today)

So i immediatly called my doctor and set an appointment and she could get me in today so i went and she checked it out and measured it and everything and i told her how it had been progressing. She felt around the area and also felt that one of my lymph noids in my neck is also swollen. :shock:

She put me on a strong 10 antibiotic (hoping that maybe it is somekind of infection) becuase she doesnt want to start cutting and biopsying right away. So now i have to wait 10 days on the antibiotic and we made a follow up..... itf its not an infection..... :shock::shock::shock:

I cant even fathum it honestly. I am so nervous and scared my stomach has been so upset all day now, how am i ever going to make 10 days!

I really hope that it's just an infection. I can't speak from experience because I've never had cancer, but if it is cancer, don't give up hope. You have people and, I'm pretty sure one if not more, horses who love and care about you. And most, if not all, of the people here will be behind you 100% of the way.

My mom used to work with a plastic surgeon and that is mostly what they did, removed sarcomas. It isn't really that bad, they just test it and if it comes back malignant they remove it, I have had 2 done now... one on my shoulder and one on my belly. Even my cervical cancer was easily dealt with because I am so young, my immune system fought it very well, it just took surgery to remove it and it did the rest... You are young and strong, you should be ok.

Please don't get yourself all worried and upset, it might be nothing, and even if it is sarcoma, they are pretty easy to remove.

If it is a tumor/sarcoma, they are very easy to deal with. one of my friends recently went through the same thing. Didn't take them long at all to get them removed!
