Does anyone have the mountain horse fusion boots? My fiance gave them to me for Christmas this year, and I'm unsure if I want to keep them. They fit great in the foot and upper calf, but the ankle is sooo tight. I am wondering if anyone else has them if the ankle will relax a bit. I wore them around the house a bit, but I don't want to take them out and ride in them as I won't be able to return them.

10 regular. My fiance had accidently bought me 9 wide at first, but I returned them as they were enormous in the calf.

I love Mountain Horse Boots with a passion. I do not have the pair that you have, but want them.

I currently have 2 pairs of Mountain Horse Rim Frosts. They are wonderful boots, and very comfortable. They are not tight, nor uncomfortable to wear.

I have 2 pairs, and I am going to put them up for sale, so that I can use that money to buy the pair you have - lol.

Is that style roomy in the ankles? They kinda look like the pinch in the ankles from the photo like mine do. I wish the elastic in the calf ran all the way down to the ankle. I'm hoping they might break in, they are really nice boots.

I have no issues with my ankles at all. These boots do not interfear with my ankle, hinder my ankle, nor do I even notice the boot doing so, when I am riding.

I do not think that our winter boots will change in any manner *relaxing around ankles* because they are not leather. They are made of that material that will remain as they come.

They are absolutely wonderful boots, no question from me - I will use no other brand of boot. I even have 2 pairs of their "Summer" boots. The High Rider II's and High Rider's.....or something like that.
