So today was moving day for Murray. Down the road to the new barn. When I arrived to pick him up, I cleaned out his stall, emptied out his water bucket and packed his extras in the van before venturing off to get him. Funny thing was, the boarder field had the gate unlocked and NO HORSES! You couldn't see them ANYWHERE else! So my sister and I ventured off to the top fields and there, in the indoor arena (where all the hay is) was the 4 boarder geldings, and Gus the carrige horse, nicely lined up, eatting hay. Well, after grabbing one horse and leading him up, the young gelding tore off and ran around the yard. My boy included. I grabbed another horse and both my sister and I walked up to the boarding field to put them all back. All horses were caught when the husband came home (I called the wife/BO before to let her know about the loose boarders). Caught my boy, brought him in and groomed him best I could, saddled him up, said my goodbye to the other horses and the husband, and I rode Mur all the way down to the new barn. We took a small CRAZY canter in a field on the way there. I had like, my family being my escorts on the way to the new barn (one car in front, the other behind). It was a fun ride. So meet the manager, talked over, got great information on the place. Murray is currently on his own for 10 days until the "herd" is use to him. I'm going on a trail ride this Saturday with the Manager to see the rest of the 600 acres and places to ride. Should be fun. Anyways, long story, here are the pics in the next post.

No idea what I'm laughing at.

My dad. Yeah, Murray is not impressed.

And we're off! Bye Sunny Brook!

This was before the field. No pics!

At the new barn. We were EARLY!

"WHAT'S OVER THERE, MOM!?!" Yeah, my horse is cool like that.

We have the same expression, no?

Main gate to EVERYTHING! Beyond that, 600 acres!

He spotted a beautiful dapple grey horse and was calling for him/her.

There he/she is! Beautiful!

Sister showing off the paddocks and rings to my dad. She knows the place better.

Cleaning off her shoes. Yup, the world of horses!

After Roger came, he showed us where Mur would be. I was putting my tack away at this time.

Checking out his place. I think he likes it so far!
