We've had Sundance in a 35 acre pasture for about the past year. There is an open barn there that all the horses have access to. The major issue we have right now is during the winter it's nearly impossible to get into the field even with a four wheel drive. The pasture itself is located on a gas well road, and it's all dirt, no gravel. My husband works nights, he sleeps til 2 in the afternoon, then leaves for work about 5, so it's hard for him to find the time to go down to the pasture with me. It's a considerable distance from home. Anyway, I've been on the search for a pasture closer to home so we can visit and work him daily. I got a call tonite, and was informed about a family who has 55 acres, 2 barns, and only 2 or 3 horses. They're unable to keep the fields cut down so their wanting to get another horse in there to help eat it off. I called them abit ago, and will find out Sunday if we get to move him there. *crossing fingers* The best part is, this place is walking distance from my house!!! Woot! Here's to hoping!
