YAY! So today me and my horse had our first Dressage lesson this morning! It was so fun!!! We didn't really do anything dressage like, only worked on my form and how i should use pressures to get my horse to go and turn left or right. The fun thing about it was I have never sat on a dressage or English saddle before. It was so different from my western saddle. Also I found somthing about my horse is she has a clubbed back foot. So Im getting a new farrier so it can properly be taken care of cuz my other farrier has done nothing for it. well I just wanted to share my fun with you guys..:lol:

thats awesome! i still remember my first dressage lesson on y horse... haha it was more like a 'how to teach a crazy fast galloping thoroughbred to canter' lol.

its good to here yours went well!! are you switching into more dressage? or was it just a one time thing?

No it wasnt just a one time thing. my next lesson is sunday and I cant wait. I want it to be tomarrow so i can practice what i learned today. I want to move on and learn something new instead of her reshowing me something she showed me last week. The really cool thing is me and my horse will be learning all this together so me and my horse are both getting trained for one price which is so sweet! Wish me luck
