I love the look of this saddle but all I can find is the "feather racer" out of the billy cook in greenville TX. I want to know if the saddle maker out of sulfur OK makes it. Does anyone know what this saddle is? So I can look up more information on it!
Thanks in advance

Thanks for putting the time into helping me. When i get home i will look more into all the websites you have posted! I think the second one is the most like it, but im not sure if its made in OK or not. I have seen the first one and thats made in TX as stated in the website. Im so stumped I wish the lady would answer my add back and i wouldnt have a problem :)

The Original and the Best Billy Cooks are made in OK

One of the Billy Cooks posted that is made in Texas uses a Ralide Tree, no Billy Cooks from OK use a Ralide Tree, not saying they are bad, just not as good as the Originals :)

Tex-Tan, Billy Cook TX and Simco-Longhorns are made In Texas by the same people now.

I'm not even sure you can get an Oklahoma made Billy Cook saddle anymore. I haven't seen any activity around their shop in quite a while. Then again, I could be missing something...

Thanks shortyhorse, that one does look the most like it (minus the blue seat lol), it kind of makes me sad that its out of greenville though :(

Dee, i just ordered 2 Billy Cooks from OK. They are still around, you just have to know where to look and what your looking for.

OP, if your gonna buy a Billy Cook, go for the OK ones. They are similar in price, but higher quality. I love the barrel saddle i just go. Its like riding on a cloud. My moms adores her Billy Cook too. Shes never had such a quality saddle and she said its like going from a "chevette" to a "cadilliac"

So worth the money. Ill see if i can find the link to my saddle/where i ordered from...

These people sell the originals, you can order one identical to your Model, or take a model similar and have them Braid the Horn, add Rawhide and Silver Lace to Cantle change tooling, BC in OK is fully capable and happy to make changes, at least they were a few years ago :)

Chuck at HSS will work with you...

I absolutely adore it. The cantle is higher, so it really seems to hold you in. The fenders are in the right spot so my legs dont feel out of place, and they stay where they should be. Its go the most comfortable seat. Its very nicely made (duh) lol, and i just love it. Ive only had it about 1 month and ive gotten so many compliments on how pretty it is.

My moms saddle is nice too, just not as fancy as mine is (different tooling, no back cinch) but she loves hers too. And its helped to improve her riding, she feels more comfortable in it. (Along with those stirrups, lol) basically she wemt from a lolly-gagging 30 second barrel pattern, to a 22 second barrel pattern last weekend.

Wow good for your mom, thats great to hear! Is a higher cantle still comfortable for longer rides? I have never been in a saddle with a 5in cantle, but i really like what i hear about them holding you in nicely , now about the comfort ;)
