Agree. There has to be something to overcome. It's what life is all about, I think. Some people make obstacles more physical (sweat) and others concentrate on mental problems. I think physical is much better suited to horses. But I hate to come down too much on people who're looking to intellectual obstacles, especially when they have a horse "with a history." So long as they realize a horse needs to MOVE to be a horse. Moving briskly forward, as Podhajsky said, can solve a lot of problems.
