Whiskey Is For Sale
I hope he sells quick. I have a foal on the way and i dont want him to go to some horse rescue just to sit in the pasture. I really want him to go on to someone who continues him in his barrel career. Im located in texas. And ill take any offer you give me. Please give my baby a good home. I dont have the time nor money to continue racing him. Please! Post for questions or contact info.

If you were near me, I would take him. But TX and WI are a long ways away from each other. Good Luck though! =)

Can you post some pictures? His height and registered or non registered? Age. These things all help rehome a horse as many here may not be familiar with him.

he looks great..if I was in Texas instead of up in PA I'd definitly get on my mum and/or dad to see if we could afford him.
and he looks like he'd be great for gaming, along with barrels..which is exactly what I'm looking to get..just need to save $3,000 and then trailering. :3
good luck with him. :)

his original owner doesnt believe in bits, she's never put a bit in any of her horses mouths, so they all ride in hackamore, Whiskey doesnt know what a bit is. lol

yeah, he's definitly worth atleast 1k. *nods excessivly*
and it's not difficult to transition to a bit..my best friend use to ride his gaming horse with just his halter and rope reins (not a lead) he got him riding with a bit in less than a month like he'd had one his whole 2 years of training and riding (he's 4 now).
I'm assuming he does ery well without a bit, since you haven't gotten him using one?
anywho-I'm a tad upset my mum turned a good job in Texas down late last year XD I totally would've snagged him by now ;D

Is this the same gelding you advertised to sell back in March saying you had a foal coming in two weeks and that you had to sell him then in two weeks time?
How old is he? What are his times on a full barrel coarse?

Wait, I'm so confused. Why are you breeding horses if you can't afford the vet bills? Like, what if he doesn't sell? How will you pay for the vet bills?

And shouldn't you of thought that, "Oh, well, maybe I shouldn't breed another horse if it means that I would have to sell one of my existing ones..."

And why, if he doesn't sell, would he go to a horse rescue?!

I honestly hope that someone responsible buys this horse simply for the horse's sake.

I so agree with you fourtwentyam. Doesn't it sound like one of the ads you see about "if you don't come buy this puppy/dog today, it is going to the pound"?
She stated if the horse doesn't sell,it will be in rescue. So, she will dump this horse, that supposadlly made her lots of money in barrel racing, would take her far, yadda yadda to help her mare have a foal. But in March, she advertised this same gelding for sale because" I am having a foal in two weeks and need the money... So, now she must be having another foal, since the one was supposed to be born in March.
Remember, this is the same girl who was buying a $10000 stallion to show in 4-h but the owner gelded the horse. She must not want that one either now..
Hmmm, makes you think, doesn't it.

Psst, fourtwenty and wyoming, this is the original thread from March.

Someone bumped it back up on 05/19, which is why y'all might be thinking it's a new thread.

Whiskey hasn't posted since the end of March.
