Need a saddle for my fat draft cross. Help?

Hope this is ok to post here. I posted in the classifieds too but thought other draft owners might be able to help. I just bought a draft cross pony and I'm having the hardest time finding an English saddle that will fit her that I can afford. I didn't think when I bought her that it would be this hard or honestly I might have reconsidered getting her! Her previous owners were riding her in a regular horse size western saddle with FQHB so I didn't realize that she would require a draft size English saddle. But after taking a wither tracing, it would appear that she needs at least an 8.5" gullet, thus landing me in draft tack territory. I am having the hardest time finding anything I can afford right now that will fit her and me! So if anyone can help me find a 17-18" seat English saddle, any kind, with an 8.5-9" gullet, under $250, you will be my hero!

If you need a western or aussie 16" seat I could help. I have 3 draft saddles that need to go, but nothing english.
At this point, I'm interested in any kind if the price is right. What do you have and how much? Thanks!
Draft saddle

My 2 drafts needed 9.5" gullets and my budget was tiny. I got an ascot international dressage saddle on ebay for $300 including shipping from Missouri (I'm in Virginia). The seller was Frontier Equestrian. They've got a website also. The leather is not the greatest quality, but has stood up very well the past 4 years. My drafts are 8 and 9 years old and I used this saddle to train them. It has seen everything, including several dunks in the pond and the river. I use a quality cleaner and oil on it. This is just my opinion, but it seems to be a decent saddle for the money. It even came with the leathers and irons.
Saddle

They do sell Wide and Extra Wide all purpose and dressage saddles. I have a Percheron that I ride and I have a Wide dressage saddle that fits him very well. I got it on Ebay for a great price. Drafttack.com has saddles and such also. My local grain store ordered my girth for me, a 60" regular and a 36" dressage girth is what I needed!

I'd give some thought to Gmac's stock saddle a look. They are usually a very comfortable ride if you get one the fits the horse. I use a wide stock saddle on my draft crosses during training. I have a tough time getting saddles that fit them. Most saddles I have to have custom made.
I the privious owners were using a full QH bar with the wither measurements you listed I'd check you horse for sore points. My older horse has a 9" gullet measurement and they can be hard to find off the shelf saddles for. I've had to get my Trooper custom made since I couldn't find one the fit.
Draft saddles are wider than I need nad the rest tend to be narrow so it does become a challange.
good luck with finding a proper saddle for your horse
