This year I am showing a new horse, owned by my grandmother, in 4h (english and western performance); he has a very long mane and I am not allowed to cut it, nor do I want to. I do not want to leave it loose during the show because its curls make it look scraggly, my problem is that my running braids never look right and frankly I'm bored with them.

I need some ideas for braiding a long main for show!
