If interested, give this lady a call. Elizabeth's Farrier Service
Her number is on her FB page.

She lives in Winchester ( Franklin County). She said she might be able to come, depending which side of Lawrence County you're on.

Scroll down thru her before/after rehab fotos.

She also has a web site but it's down ATM.

She is a AFA certified therapeutic farrier and interned under Ric Redden for a year when she got out of farrier school - that's been close to twenty years I think.

She also studied under a barefoot farrier, up in KY.

She hot shoes my foundered horse and trims the other one --whose mild club hoof has not had one bit of thrush since she started trimming him three years ago --- Holy Crow! It's been three years already! this month!

If you are too far for her, hopefully she will at least be able to recommend someone.

My other thought would be to go to new horse.com, click on the farrier tab, cluck on the Tennessee tab and see if there is anyone near you.
