Great pics! Looks like you had a great lesson. Great start to a first lesson. Will be grea to see your guys's progress as you take more lessons and become more involved with dressage. Good luck to you both :)

Hey, what do you mean our goal?
Each lesson has a lesson plan geared to the current stage of horse and rider and the issues that need to be addressed and fixed.

Were you working on forward? Were you working on rhythm? Were you dealing with a bracing or crookedness issue?

I can say lots about the pictures, but much of it may not apply since I have no idea what the focus of the lesson was. There's no point in inundating you with a bunch of stuff if you aren't there yet.

Since it was your first, was it simply for horse, rider and instructor to meet and feel each other out?

Ohh don't worry haha it wasn't my first dressage lesson- though it probably looks it cos I wasn't concentrating on me at all (which my trainer told me not to)- we were just working on getting him to think more forwardly, be more responsive through the aids and transitions and enjoy it. He's 3, not done much at all and just needs work and I know what I am doing so please don't inundate me with a bunch of stuff haha! Videos are in the video section if you want to get a better view.
Thankyou!! :D xxx
