Hay : )

Been lurking here for quite a while, among other places.. seems the least dramatic and judgemental here...too old and lazy for that stuff : )

So... figured i might as well "join-up".

Own 4 horses from various degrees of rescue and rehab, keeping them on my little 10 acre farm here at home in New England (MA, specifically). Pheonix (pheets), Tacoma (t-Bone), Mumma and Abbygail share the place with me and my husband, two cats and assorted wildlife, including dust bunnies. Have two boarders here, too, with three horses between them. They are Gypsy, Beorn and Mercury.

Old school horseman, been around horses all my life and have enjoyed, so far, a long and comfortable career within The Biz. Eventing is/was my thing but i am open to any seat or discipline. I love The Horse, don't care what he does.

Looking to chat, socialize a bit, share what I know and learn some. Like to laugh, tease, tend to be direct bordering on rudely blunt in the face of stooopidity (not to be confused with genuine ignorance or lack of info), and will support an honest, positive effort every time.

Hope to meet a few folks, re-affirm my place as a human (been with the horses too long I fear) and just dweeb along on my merry little way thru Life : )

FYI: I am really bad with capitalizing!

I admit that I have not rescued any directly from a "rescue" facility, more that I take them in BEFORE they get on the rescue bus. I also transport any and all legitimate rescue animals for free.

Rescue, for some, is a good thing. Thank you for YOUR efforts, SheaW.! And thanks, too, for the welcome : )

Thank you, and nice to meet you, too! Montana has always held huge interest for me and someday I will visit again, if not live there : )

Had friends/family near Missoula back in the late 80's early 90's. We spent most vacations there while they were there, near somebody's lake.... greely? Seeley! Gosh, it's been a long time... Thanks for stirring the memoury box : ). It was the serenity that i remember liking so much. And the space.
