Hello. I live near Simcoe, On and have a wet mare who has gone through a horrible week. Do to an unfortunate fate her foal ruptured it's tendon and had to be euthanized. We would like to ease her pain by helping an orphaned foal. If you are in need of a nurse mare let me know and we can try to work something out.

Yes. It was suggested to post on forum as they didn't currently have any under their care.

I wonder if it might be worthwhile seeing if there are any rescues in your area? They might know of someone?

I hope you find a foal soon for your mare, this is so stressful on the mare and you, good luck.
And call some local breeders/ranches for the just in case, if you haven't already.
